Damn, my IBM is down again Since last week, it started to get itelf frozen frequently. After trying to solve the problem for a week, I finally gave up and called IBM last night. They took it away this morning which was FAST. Just hope they can return it to me soon too. Then, guess I have to use the old office computer for a while -.-

In today抯 philosophy class, we discussed an interesting topic, 揷an you think of anything that is desired that is not happiness or a means to happiness??
Of course there is no 揳nswer?to this Q. yes or no just depends on how you interpret it. One popular thought is, anything is desired is because it is desirable. There is no way that a thing is bad, sad or means to sad is desirable. This is in generally speaking for an OVER ALL result. Thus, I will say 搉ope? On the other hand, some ppl believe as human being, our thought sometimes does bring us some ideas which may result sad, bad consequence. For example, if you face a choice of saving your mom or another person ( how about another 100 ppl? How about another 10000 ppl?) what will you do? What if that is not your mom but your cat. Will you save what you love or 1000000 strangers? What they are saying is, your rational might not always be happy.
Anyways, what do you guys think about this?

| The name is so cute itself, isn’t it?
In such a cold winter, people in Madison have this tradition for over 100 years.
It was sort of warm in the weekend, so I was really worried about those ppl on the lake.( that’s why I didn’t actually step on the ice, wakaka~~~)
From the 3rd floor of the college library, I saw a whole bunch of ppl down there. Fell so glad---haven’t seen so many ppl for a while. You know, America, winter, snow, and so on.
Later in the evening, they played firework on the lake; besides, some ppl were still playing kites, which had lights on.
